This preview uses made-up data only. Please do not enter real personal or case information.

What we collect today

On the public pages we collect only what you type into a form, plus a few technical details.

  • Waitlist: your email address and, if you choose, your mobile number. If you check the text box we also keep a record of that consent: the date, the wording version and the way you gave it.
  • Beta signup: your name, email, US state, and phone number if you add one. We also keep the page you landed on, the site that referred you if your browser sent one, and campaign tags from the link. We keep a record that you agreed to product and marketing emails, with the date and the wording version. This form does not ask for criminal records or case details.
  • Confirmation: when you confirm your email, we record that you did.
  • Firm demo request: your name, your firm's name, your work email, the size of your team, a preferred time and any note you add.
  • Screener: the answers you give are used once to show your result. They are not saved on our servers and are not put in the page address.
  • Security records: when you join the waitlist, join the beta, confirm, or request a demo, we record the time, your IP address and your browser type. We use them to prevent abuse and to show that consent was given.
  • Abuse limits: to slow down automated sign-ups we keep counters that use a scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address, not the address itself.

Cookies

We use the cookies the service needs. We do not load advertising or analytics scripts unless a measurement ID is set in the site settings. With no ID set, which is the default, no analytics cookie or pixel is used. If an ID is set, the beta thank-you page can send a signup event to that provider. That event does not include criminal-record details.

  • rr_screener: holds your screener answers so the result page can be shown. It lasts 30 minutes, is only sent to the screener pages, and cannot be read by page scripts.
  • rr_session: keeps you signed in after you log in. It lasts at most 12 hours and ends after 60 minutes without activity.

How we use it

We use your email to confirm your waitlist request and then to send waitlist and product news. We send texts only if you opted in and only after you confirm your email. We use demo details to reply to you.

If you join the beta or the waitlist from the beta page, we email you to confirm which list you are on, and then we send the product and marketing emails you agreed to.

Account and security messages may still be sent after you unsubscribe from news.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the service, such as hosting, email and text-message providers [provider names to be added], under terms that limit how they may use it.

We may disclose information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Retention periods are not final.

  • Waitlist, beta signup and demo details: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, and no longer than [retention period to be set] after launch.
  • Security records: [retention period to be set]. Some records are kept permanently in this preview.
  • Screener answers: not kept (see above).

Your choices

Every news email, including beta and product emails, has an unsubscribe link. Use that link, or write to [privacy contact email to be added], to stop those emails. Reply STOP to any text to stop texts, or HELP for help.

To ask us to see, correct or delete your information, write to [privacy contact email to be added].

After you sign up for the full service

The full service will collect more, such as case details, documents and records. That information will be stored encrypted and covered by a fuller policy before it is collected.
